Money, Money, Money

Mamas, we spend most of our resources giving our kids everything they could want and or need (as is our job), but why are we putting our own health on the back burner? If we say yes to everything our kids WANT, why are we not investing in what we NEED? 

 

We waste our money on daily starbucks, crap at target you don't need, fast food, subscriptions that are never used, clothes we never wear... why do we feel guilty for spending money on our health? Let's change that. Drop the unnecessary excess and let's prioritize our health and wellness. Money is one of the biggest reasons women suffer much longer than necessary and end up having to spend much more because they didn't address their issues sooner. Do not let money be the reason you do not take care of your body. Do not feel guilty for taking care of yourself or spending money on your health! That is just silly. If your kid had severe pain in their neck and back you would do everything you possibly could and spend any dollar amount to ensure they are healed and whole. You deserve and need that same level of care. How can we in a healthy way care for our families if we don't even care for ourselves? 

 

As moms, we give and give and give and at some point we simply have to refill our own cup. Create the space in the budget and create space on your calendar, get adjusted, acupuncture, a massage, a facial, get in the gym, whatever it is that you and your body need in order to show up as your best self for your family, do that! Self-care doesn't just happen as we talked about last week.. you have to create the time to take care of yourself.

Let's normalize mamas prioritizing their health and wellness.
